He is interested to work more and more on projects mixing and bridging visual arts and live arts/performance, with possibility for experimenting with new technologies and new medias, and focusing on the use and the perception of images, memory, body, movement, time, space, energy, tension, force...

Snow sculpture with frozen photograph in ice.

In some of my works i try to focus on the space, and if we think sculpture wise, i often need or wish to work on bigger scale in order to could involve or surround the audience within the sculpture. In this case, i wondered how i could work this cube of snow as a space, and transform its perception when you’re inside it. Together with this, i tried to take into consideration the light that this space could generate, and also the possibilities for emotion that such high and tight space can bring. For such, i’ll also embed this work of frozen photograph in ice into the central cylinder of snow. This take part as much in the lighting possibilities than in creating the space. The frozen photographs is itself a different space and light in the ice, which can evolve through time. The working process is also for me more important than the actual result, and the interest here is also what is generated in the different step of transformation of that space. This space is to be experienced by walking through it as well as to be seen from outside, from a higher point of view.
